The Squirrel family chose somewhere else to sleep last night…
so Owl stopped by to see what they’ve done with the place…
but prefers a place with a bit more privacy😄

We just built and put up an owl house from the ODNR directions you posted. Looks like you’ve made some modifications to the plans (like the “porch”, the twigs, the orientation of the door) – obviously strict adherence to the directions isn’t necessary! thanks for posting.

We modified it for Opossum who moved into the one built for Owl🤣
They just want a hollow and details are not so important-
but the porch seems popular (made from the scrap left over in the plans)
